Steaks fuel the platform and are consumed whenever a HYCHAIN Guardian Node Key submits a successful assertion using the HYSTEAKS platform.

When you host your HYCHAIN Guardian Node Keys with HYSTEAKS, your subscription includes 250 Steaks each month. The usage is reset at the start of each new billing period.
Usage is calculated by analyzing the on-chain data for Node Key assertions. When a wallet containing Node Keys is hosted on the platform, a new Delegate Wallet is created. This Delegate Wallet serves a few core functions.
Owner does not need to risk any assets
When you use a Delegate Wallet, you are only approving the Delegate to submit Node Key assertions for your Node Keys on your behalf. The Delegate does not have access to any of the assets owned by the owner wallet containing the actual Node Keys or any other valuable assets.
Accurate usage recording for each Node
Since each Node gets its own Delegate Wallet that is managed by the HYSTEAKS platform, we can accurately calculate the on-chain Node Key assertions. This also gives the user the added ability to easily withdraw any unused $TOPIA gas.
